In the terminal of Chopin Airport in Warsaw, the holiday spirit resounds in winter, thanks to the spectacular illumination prepared by Multidekor. Thousands of lights, an impressive Christmas tree, and Santa Claus in an airplane are just the beginning of the magic that awaits passengers. The entire decoration, enriched with references to the airport’s patron, Fryderyk Chopin, makes this place special not only for visitors but also for those returning home for Christmas.
The centerpiece is a nearly six-meter Christmas tree, proudly presenting popular cities to which passengers fly from Warsaw. Nearby, high up under the ceiling, hangs a huge eight-meter model of an airplane, and on board, you can see Santa Claus. This view will surely bring a smile to the faces of the youngest travelers and adults, reminding them of the miracle of Christmas.
The Christmas decorations at Chopin Airport also pay tribute to its patron. On the terminal’s facade, one can admire an animation show of notes forming a luminous musical staff adorned with Christmas motifs. Inside the airport, there is a unique light photo spot with the image of Fryderyk Chopin, providing an opportunity to take a souvenir photo.
During the three-month display, the Christmas illuminations attract about 3 million passengers, making Chopin Airport not only a gateway to Poland but also an exceptional space of holiday delight. The entire installation, comprising nearly 75,000 energy-efficient eco-LED diodes, is not only a light spectacle but also eco-friendly, confirming the airport’s Chopin Airport’s and Multidekor’s commitment to environmental protection. These are the largest Christmas decorations in the history of Poland’s most important airport, designed with all who pass through its gates in mind.
