“Each season, the outdoor exhibition Royal Garden of Light is visited by an average of 250,000-300,000 people. Previously, the historic areas were devoid of the public in the evenings during autumn and winter, thus the museum lacked tourists and Warsaw lacked this kind of attraction. The light installations revived the place, contributed to a different perception of monuments without losing their material and symbolic value. On the contrary, both aspects were strengthened in popular reception.”
