Inspired by the sea and nature In the heart of Gdańsk, Galeria Bałtycka, in collaboration with Multidekor, brightens winter evenings with a unique Christmas illumination. The inspiration for this project was a drop of water – a symbol of life and nature, reflecting the gallery’s connection to its seaside location. Thanks to this concept, traditional decorations gained new, deeper meaning, combining aesthetics with ecology.
The client did not clearly define their expectations, but Multidekor’s designers knew from the start that a gallery located in a maritime city like Gdańsk must refer to water during the holiday season. The symbol of Baltic beaches in Poland is swans, so they became a key element of the decoration. Water, which often circulates, freezes, and melts, became an inspiration to use light animations reflecting these phenomena.
Striking facade and interiors
Passersby are greeted by a striking facade, dominated by energy-efficient LED lights, creating an invitation to enter. The interior of the shopping mall pulses with life thanks to decorations kept in traditional green and golden glow, referring to the coastal landscape – from charming swans, light photo spots to chandeliers illuminated by drops of water. The swan chariot decorates the space up to 20 meters high, becoming a perfect selfie point on social media.
In the project, we used the reliable GRIPPLE mounting system, which holds the highest standards of safety and durability, ensuring that all elements are securely attached and will remain in perfect condition throughout the holiday season.
This approach to holiday decorations not only highlights the uniqueness of Galeria Bałtycka but also sets it as an example of how creativity and modern technology can be used to create a magical atmosphere, celebrating both the holidays and the beauty of nature. Thanks to these exceptional decorations, Galeria Bałtycka becomes a place that attracts residents and tourists alike, offering them unforgettable experiences and a moment of respite in the holiday glow.
