The Charm of Memories and Retro Illumination in Warsaw

Warsaw shone with Christmas splendor thanks to the unique illuminations created by Multidekor. Poland’s tallest Christmas tree, standing at 27 meters on Castle Square, traditional baubles, toys, light chains, and full-size retro car replicas – all of this met the passersby walking along the Royal Route, Świętokrzyska Street, and Five Corners Square, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Individual concept and modern technology

Since 2008, Multidekor has been introducing unique Christmas illumination concepts to Warsaw, delighting the local community and tourists. It took 132 days to prepare all installations, and over 40 people were responsible for the assembly. Work was also carried out at night to minimize inconvenience for residents. Warsaw was adorned with colorful installations featuring Eco LED+ diodes. Made with energy-saving technology and using 3D printing, the retro-style decorations referred to the imagery characteristic of the 1950s and 60s, creating a unique atmosphere.

Unforgettable moments full of magic

According to the assumptions of Multidekor’s designers, the entire decoration resembles a box full of Christmas ornaments straight from grandma’s basement, reflecting the diversity and liveliness of this unique display.

“Illuminations are not only about beauty and magic but also about spending time with loved ones, making new acquaintances, or just a moment of relaxation after a tough day. We wanted Warsaw to be a place where everyone feels good, regardless of age or interests. And that’s why our latest proposal is so diverse,

Ecology and innovation

Importantly, most of the decoration elements were made from biodegradable materials. Caring for the environment, Multidekor combines aesthetics with ecology. Our energy-saving solutions not only decorated the city but also promoted and cared for sustainable development.

“The residents’ opinion was unequivocal – the Christmas illumination not only looks great but also brings tangible benefits to the city. It provides additional lighting during a period when darkness prevails for almost 16 hours a day, transforms the gray, gloomy winter city space, and makes walks much more pleasant despite bad weather. And the decorations attract residents,”
