Złote Tarasy Shopping Center invited visitors on an extraordinary holiday journey—filled with light, wonder, and unforgettable moments. The Christmas decoration concept, designed and executed by Multidekor, was selected by Cushman & Wakefield Poland as the winning proposal for 2024, thanks to its perfect blend of creative vision, innovative lighting technology, and a theme that resonated deeply with the brand’s identity and customer expectations.
This year’s Christmas lighting display at Złote Tarasy told a captivating story of journeys—both near and far, real and imagined, across space and time. Outside the center, visitors were greeted by an iconic glowing DeLorean—a playful nod to nostalgic travel—dressed in shimmering holiday colors and designed as a perfect photo spot.
In front of the shopping center, guests encountered a monumental sleigh installation pulled by a magical bird—a symbol of adventure, movement, and festive wonder. The full sensory experience was amplified by dynamic light animations that changed color in sync with seasonal music, transforming the plaza into a cinematic holiday moment.
Inside the mall, the journey continued. At the heart of the atrium stood a three-meter-tall stained glass bird holding a suitcase—a sculptural centerpiece representing adventure, discovery, and the joy of shared memories. This wasn’t just a holiday ornament—it was a work of art that gave the entire interior a signature character.
Throughout the shopping center, visitors could discover the “Around the World” installation, with elements inspired by globes and maps—celebrating the richness and diversity of the world we share.
Multidekor ensured that the project was not only visually stunning, but also environmentally conscious. Over 180,000 eco-LED light points illuminated the interior and exterior spaces, keeping energy consumption low while maximizing visual impact. In addition, many decorative elements were produced using 3D printing technology and eco-friendly materials, further enhancing the sustainability of the installation.
Connecting People, Places, and Emotions Through Holiday Light
The central message of this year’s design was connection—bringing people together, celebrating shared spaces, and awakening emotions, especially during the most magical season of the year. Inspired by the journeys we take—big and small, everyday and extraordinary—the concept delivered a unifying story that left a lasting impression on visitors of all ages.
